David M. Martin

David Martin studied at Glasgow School of Art from 1940-42, and after a period in the RAF, became an art teacher in 1949. Since 1948, Martin has regularly exhibited in group and solo shows across the UK. In 1952 he married and moved to Eaglesham, outside Glasgow, where he still lives, and by the early 1980s he was able to concentrate on painting full-time.
